The Irish Rover

I was looking for some hearty "comfort" food and found it at "The Rover" - I've been going there for years, anything you get there is great. Did I mention the beer? -The beers are good too.

Love this place for an Irish experience! The food is the real deal, the decorations are outstanding, and it made me feel like I was really in a neighborhood Irish pub and restaurant. There are plenty of choices for the non-traditional eater, but try some Guiness or a lager with thier deep fried cheese appitizer. Outstanding!

The scene is romantic with large french doors opening to a quint patio. The inside is small, but bright in the decor with old black and white family portraits and large rustic wood paneling. The service is curtious and the food is fantastic in flavor

The Rover has to be my favorite restaurant in town! You just can't beat it for atmosphere, excellent food and a great selection of brews as well as ot more...

A sister restraunt of the original on Frankfort Ave owned by the same folks. For those looking for a great meal that is priced very fair, check out the Irish Rover II next to the tracks on the square in LaGrange! Two HUGE thumbs up! Rated: Awesome!
